I grew up in St. Louis, MO, and developed a passion for caring for patients with cardiovascular disease while training at the University of Missouri School of Medicine, the Massachusetts General Hospital, and Washington University in St. Louis before moving to Portland in the fall of 2012 to establish a comprehensive cardiovascular department at The Portland Clinic. My approach to patient care is to be first and foremost a passionate advocate for my patients. I see myself as a general cardiologist, and commonly see patients with coronary artery disease, arrhythmias, congestive heart failure, cardiomyopathies, aortic and vascular disease, lipid and cholesterol abnormalities, and for prevention of cardiovascular conditions.
The best aspect of working at The Portland Clinic is the flexibility my staff and I have to give our patients the access, tools, and advice in an intimate environment. Our goal is to provide patients not only with the best medical care, but also with the sense that they have a dedicated team of allies in medicine. I love bicycling, cooking, baking, and spending time with my family and friends.
